NOVEMBER:
My friends’ wise faces look out at me from their little squares on my computer. We’re looking at charts together and are crossing fingers that Friday October 31, the current government impasse will break. The planets look good. But as of this writing, it looks like the impasse remains, despite evidence of slow seismic shifts finally occurring. Prince Andrew losing his rank and title are in keeping with the astrology of this month… exposés are expected.
And oh my goodness… can things become crazier than they have been? The USA is in dire straits – we are split in two. November starts off with serious implications for many who depend on food support because at the time of this writing, that support is set to expire on November 1st. Then there’s the whole medical insurance fiasco. I’m not going to get into politics but I am going to share with you what I see up there.
Let’s take a look at what’s happening in our solar system and beyond. What’s happening up there is not causing anything down here but there is a correlation. Astrology is an excellent map to see what’s going on.
First of all, it’s not just our solar system all by itself right now. The cosmos is alive with new alignments and visiting celestial bodies one of whom is 3i Atlas. 3i Atlas is a lump of rock from waaaaay beyond our solar system. It’s been absorbing incredible amounts of solar radiation and as the month opens, it has meetings with planets in our solar system! We have an inter-galactic visitor to our home world!

Also, this month Mercury turns retrograde bringing your attention to what needs to be focused on and urging caution with all legal matters. Both Jupiter and Saturn pause (station) in perfect harmony with one another all month long, bringing our attention to the very nature of reality (our current political situation for example) and the legalities of it. This is a cosmic blessing.
As there’s a great deal of cosmic shuffling going on it’s very important that you practice all your self-care skills this month. For me, my energy is focused on my heart. As difficult things arise, even awareness about my own failings and foibles, I allow my heart to expand and include all that is arising. I feel this is not only saving my sanity, but this practice is also increasing my capacity to surf the shock waves of the current times.
The energy this month focuses on Scorpio until November 21st at which time it switches to Sagittarius. The movement is water to fire. This sounds alchemically challenging but it’s clearly doable since it’s our natural cycle.
The month begins with intense, passionate, often revengeful Scorpio. This highlights your ability to dive deep into your fears and phobias, and some of them are very real. Scorpio shows you your shadow. Can you love and accept all parts of yourself? The boastful yet insecure teenager? The vulnerable child? The erratic nutcase? Scorpio can take us down, down into the earth, down into the cave, the warren, the burrow. This deep dive has you facing both your fears and desires. Be strong and look. Face your shadows. Embrace the gold that lies within them and in so doing experience the regeneration of Scorpio, the renewal of your intrinsic life force.
Sagittarius opens and expands, guides and explores, teaches and learns. Its ruling planet Jupiter is direct in Cancer in lovely harmony with Saturn in Pisces. It feels like Jupiter is escorting Saturn on its last pass in Pisces, as Saturn won’t be back in Pisces for 29 years. What lovely companionship!
Sagittarius’s arrow points us to the broadest picture possible. That’s what the fire of the Archer is for… it’s to burn off dross by expanding your vision. This is more than intention setting. It is also receptive. Jupiter exalted in Cancer provides a home base, an emotional landing pad that is held in the large warm palm of Spirit itself. You are not alone. Feel your connection to Source. You are a part of all that is.
Here’s how the month rolls along:
November 1st we are resonating with 3i Atlas’s flyby and social pressures in the USA. Pay close attention to any new sensations you experience. The waxing Moon in Pisces conjuncts Saturn and doesn’t feel too hopeful but it does encourage faith.
On the 2nd, the Aries Moon brings renewed vigor. Could this be because we get an extra hour when the clock changes? Oh how I wish we would just leave time alone!
November 3rd, 3i Atlas connects with Venus, amplifying our awareness of the beauty and rarity of our Earth home. Earth is a remarkable planet! Just the perfect distance from the Sun to allow for an atmosphere and life.
The November 4th USA elections take center stage and encourage optimism though the crazy oppositional reporting on the results can dampen spirits.
Also on the 4th, feisty Mars enters optimistic Sagittarius and switches the energy. Hope abounds! However, Mars opposes unpredictable Uranus suggesting shocks and upsets are possible. In your personal life use this wild energy to get through difficult projects.
The Taurus Full Moon on November 5th highlights our shared values, specifically money and markets worldwide. Mars is in opposition with Uranus suggesting unpredictable outcomes and possible bad behavior. Hold your ground. Keep your focus.
Jupiter, which governs international affairs and legal matters, is still in that exact sweet trine with Saturn. Perhaps something good can come out of all this. Venus, which rules the Full Moon, is in uncomfortable positions with Neptune, Chiron and Saturn. Healing in values is possible but there’s some obstruction and deception to clear before seeing the beauty. Venus is at the exact position of the last New Moon so this is a continuation of what was sown October 21st. What arose in you then? What is happening within you now?
Fallout from the Full Moon continues with some shock, awe and possible exhilaration when the Moon enters Gemini and connects with Uranus on the 6th. At the same time, Venus leaves her gracious home sign on Libra and enters the secretive, focused world of Scorpio. Notice how you feel with this shift. Are you more attached or less so to people and things? Money and power feature strongly now.
There’s a quickness in the air on the 7th and 8th with a bit of a cosmic twist. On the 7th, Uranus re-enters Taurus for its last stint there until April 25th, 2026. It will finish up what ever business it needs to tend to for it will not be back in Taurus for another 84 years. Over the next few months, Uranus will come into a square with Mars and the ascendent in Donald Trump’s chart. This is a dangerous transit for him. On March 1st, 2026, the astrology will be similar to the time of the assassination on July 13, 2024. The difference will be that Mars will be opposite his Mars and square transiting Uranus when in 2024 Mars was conjunct Uranus. Both astrological signatures, and the coming New Moon, hold danger for Trump.
The energy morphs to a more feeling tone on the 9th and 10th as the Moon travels through Cancer, in harmony with the Scorpio Sun. These dates hold specific resonance as the Moon meets Jupiter and both connect with Black Moon Lilith and Saturn. Listen for voices from the feminine.
Also on the 9th, Mercury turns retrograde at 7˚ Sagittarius. Use the next three weeks to reflect and reconsider. Mercury will turn direct at 21˚ Scorpio on November 29th. Look at where this mystical journey is in your chart. In some ways you will traverse this area again. Old friends may be in touch. Recent events on the national and international level are looked at again.
Well, you can see that the first part of the month is already quite the roller coaster! Take a breather right about now.
The Moon enters Leo the morning of November 10th and makes strong aspects to Mars and Mercury. Courage and confidence abound. On the 11th the Moon squares the Sun (as it does every month) bringing some tension. Also on 11/11, Jupiter turns retrograde extending its exact trine with Saturn, a great blessing for us all.
The afternoon of November 12th and through to very early on the 15th, the Virgo Moon brings much needed regrouping and order. November 12th will be the second Mercury/Mars conjunction. My friend Nancy is watching this closely. She encourages all to pay attention to what is true and feels impulsive communication is likely.
November 15th to the morning of the 17th, the Libra Moon brings an opportunity to get things balanced. Heed early morning dreams on the 17th when the Moon opposes Chiron.
The 18th through to the 20th the waning Scorpio Moon brings the lunar month to a conclusion. It’s time to retreat inward and to let go. Your inner wisdom waits for your receptiveness stillness.
The Scorpio New Moon very early on November 20th occurs at the tail end of the sign. The recent New Moons and those through to spring 2026, are at the end of signs, also known as the critical degree. The last degree of any sign indicates deep change. This we can clearly see and feel! This Scorpio New Moon features retrograde Mercury right in the thick of it. The past is present! Scorpio themes predominate – like sex, money, power and the abuse thereof. Change agent Uranus is exactly opposite the Moon, Sun and Mercury. This New Moon and Uranus, activate Donald Trump’s chart. Enormous change and instability are predicted! Wow, what a lunation. This is a shocking time. Secrets from the past come to life. I think we can all imagine what that might be. Let’s hope that what has been hidden comes to light to purify the situation and to facilitate the return of sanity.
On a personal level, this New Moon can help you access lost parts of yourself. Listen in, feel what is rising up in you. Let yourself receive your missing pieces. It’s a shamanic experience.
The Moon moves into Sagittarius later on the 20th, shedding light on what is coming forward. There is much change afoot over the next few days as Uranus opposes the Sun in the last degree of Scorpio. A world leader is stepping down.
The evening of the 21st, the Sun enters Sagittarius in opposition to Uranus. There is a change on the world stage. We all enter the purifying fire of Sagittarius now. We descended with Scorpio, now we rise up with fire. This is the time of year to explore your highest potential. What brings you meaning in life? Are you in alignment with it?
On the 22nd the waxing Moon crosses the Galactic Center. What insights are you receiving?
The 23rd and 24th the Capricorn Moon encourages pragmatism with a dose of legalese on the 24th when it opposes Jupiter. The law has something to say.
The 25th, 26th and partway through the 27th (Thanksgiving), the Aquarian Moon encourages intelligent discussion and group interactions. Look for powerful action on the 25th when it meets Pluto.
Thanksgiving holds a poignant energy with the Moon in Pisces. Over the next few days it meets with Saturn and Neptune bringing our hearts into attunement with the suffering and the hope of these times.
Mercury turns direct on the 29th. We get to hear everything all over again. Mercury is in Scorpio – the topics are intense.
The energy shifts on the last day of the month when the Moon enters Aries as Venus enters Sagittarius. Fire burns bright now. New beginnings are possible but oh golly, what a roller coaster it’s been!
The month ends deep in the heart of Sagittarius, the truth seeker. We learned a great deal this month. We know what we don’t want and we now appreciate the things we took for granted. Let’s hope the tide has turned toward a bright and sane future.
Take good care of yourself and those you love. These are very difficult times, yet we are not alone. We have each other and we have 3iAtlas, our intergalactic visitor. Much has been revealed to us, now our task is to understand it.
