Dear friends,
The white wet snow that lay across the land has melted into the ground. Doves linger in the dry grass under the birdfeeder, basking in the gentle warmth. We’re in Pisces now. It’s a watery time. Every year around February 18th, the Sun slips into the last house in the world wheel. It stays there for thirty days before entering Aries, the place where everything begins anew. For me, these thirty days feel like a dreamscape. I’m lost at sea, all alone on a boat. Yet beneath the bobbing waves of my tidal pool body, a resilient fire burns. Who and what I have to do and be to thrive in this abandoned place, flickers within. The isolation makes me strong. I am there for myself.
This is the journey we make this month – from water to fire. From the end to the beginning. From Pisces to Aries. Prepare yourself with your full presence in every moment no matter the ebb and flow of Pisces mutable nature. The Sun will enter Aries marking the Spring Equinox (in the northern hemisphere) on March 20th .
Prior to that we have a lot of Pisces this month! Mercury the communicator is retrograde in Pisces until Equinox, allowing us to linger longer in the end of the end. Mars, the great warrior and ruler of both Aries and Scorpio, is in Pisces too. Swimming and diving in the deep ocean of the collective unconscious, we connect in the dreamscape. Use the first twenty days of this month to paint, pray, sing, chant, sleep. Other approved of activities are making love, serving others, and organizing your sock drawer. Giggling is allowed aloud.
March takes us through a Full Moon lunar eclipse (3/3), Mercury retrograde (2/26 – 3/20) and spring equinox (3/20). That’s quite the sea voyage! This time of year reminds us of death and of birth. There’s a lot to it. Dying takes time. If you’re lucky you get to reflect and understand, forgive and let go, integrate and conclude before you leave your mortal coil. Then there’s the birth. What is it you’re creating? Who are you becoming? Who are you drawing toward you?
What to do about the past, is the Pisces question. Are you the past? What about the cells in your body? Is your spirit the repository of your memories? How do you become new when you are so full, where you are already created?
These are the contemplations to hold within, to gently and patiently ponder. With Mercury retrograde until Equinox, reflecting is encouraged.
March, like any month, is not just about where the Sun is, it’s also about the opposite place, the opposite signs being Virgo (earth) and Libra (air). Not just death in Pisces (water), but the healing that Virgo (earth) brings. Not just the independent autonomy of Aries (fire), but the delicate robustness of relationship which is Libra (air). In this way all four elements are always part of our experience. Keep this in mind as you navigate your way through this magical and mystical time.
The month opens with a sense of expectancy. The moon is waxing and plump in bright Leo. Mars is poised to change signs. Get yourself prepared for shifting energy.
Early on the 2nd active Mars leaves the equality of Aquarius (and the USA Moon) for the deep sea of Pisces. Aggression goes underground. Victims of all kinds, in this case specifically men, or victims of men, become more visible. The Moon enters Virgo and reminds us to clean up.
The Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse resonates with a sigh of relief on March 3rd. This Full Moon eclipse will be visible over the USA. Get up around 4:00 am (MDT) to see totality at 4:38 am. It’s going to be the Blood Moon – where the Moon looks red as the Earth’s shadow falls on it blocking the Sun’s light. Perfect for the year of the Fire Horse — all that red blood symbolizes our shared lineage with all beings.
The eclipse brings the return of order. Sanity prevails. Healing and cleaning are simple and necessary tasks which unite us all.
The globe resonates with the eclipse over the next several days.
March 4th through 6th, the Moon travels through Libra bringing others into our view.
Early on March 6th, while we’re sleeping, Venus leaves the compassion of Pisces for the pioneering energy of Aries. The pursuit of pleasure predominates and women’s issues come forward. Venus will connect with both Neptune and Saturn over the next few days as each individual appraises their own values and discerns with their own eyes the confusion of these times.
March 7th through the 9th, the Moon travels through intense Scorpio with the 9th revealing secrets as the Moon opposes Uranus early in the morning. The clocks spring forward on March 8th (groan!).
Later in the morning on the 9th and through to the 11th, the Sagittarian Moon brings the pursuit of truth to the forefront. These truths are especially poignant on the 9th as the Moon connects favorably with Neptune, Saturn and Venus. Notice what you see and learn now.
On the 11th, the Moon connects sweetly with Chiron helping you do the things you need to do for yourself.
Also on the 11th, Jupiter stations direct in Cancer after a four month retrograde journey. We will continue to learn a great deal about our legal system. We’re revisiting the laws this country created long ago. The immigrants and generational Americans who have not been connected to what makes America unique are coming to appreciate the freedoms and stand in support of them. Jupiter connects favorably with the prevailing Pisces energy bringing sweet relief. I sincerely trust and hope that protections for water and parks are reinstated and that the EPA re-emerges. We may not see any results now, but the energy is seeded at this direct turning of Jupiter. In the meantime, and with no consideration for the beautiful sustaining world we have, the Orange man has lifted restrictions of glyphosate. This is a major disruptor! It KILLS growing things. “Weeds” they say. Make your voice known as Jupiter turns direct, March 11th.
March 12th and 13th the Moon enters Capricorn bringing a sense of pragmatism and perhaps heaviness. This is especially pronounced on the 13th when the Moon opposes Jupiter, planet of law and a little bit later, squares Chiron. There may be news about the housing market at this time.
On the 14th the Moon enters Aquarius and connects with Pluto. Information comes to the people as do issues of power and control.
The Moon continues in Aquarius through to the 16th giving us an opportunity to explore fairness and equality. People have a voice and celebrate the First Amendment.
The Moon enters watery Pisces the evening of the 16th and prepares for its rebirth, and yet another fresh start at the coming New Moon on the 18th.
March 17th the dark Moon invites deep inner reflection.
The annual Pisces New Moon at 7:35 pm (MDT) on March 18th speaks symbolically to us all. This New Moon occurs at the last degrees of Pisces. This is a special place on the cosmic map. It evokes a sense of wonder. It promotes the possibility that out of the compost, the rot and decay, something new is born. Stay close to your inner self and see what emerges. What is coming forth out of the past you lived?
The 19th and 20th the Moon travels through Aries, bringing fresh energy to the spring Equinox on March 20th. This is a mystical cosmic day our ancestors celebrated. Ancient monuments were built to capture the Sun’s light as it shines along the Earth’s equator marking the equality of light and dark; at 8:52 am (MDT)
Also at Equinox, Mercury turns direct at 8˚ Pisces. With a waxing Moon and the Sun in Aries, and now Mercury direct, we’re getting the cosmic thumbs up to start something new.
March 21st the Sun meets Neptune. This is dreamy, perhaps confusing, energy. Protect your immune system. If you’re tired, rest.
Over the next few days the Sun connects with not only Neptune, but Saturn and then Chiron. This is a passage of time that requires care. This is a beginning. Be sure you’re aware of what’s happening in and with your life. Commitment and healing are highly likely. Meanwhile, the Moon traveling through Taurus brings stability to what could be a highly sensitive time.
On March 23rd, the Moon enters Gemini and the pace picks up. The airy nature of this Moon fans the newly “hatched” Aries energy. We are officially in fire time. Give yourself the opportunity to make the adjustment from watery Pisces just three days ago. Aries often brings impatience and independence making you want to do your own thing. Be sure to think things through before taking off!
March 24th the Gemini Moon plays with the Aries Sun bringing light relief.
March 25th and 26th emotions roil and some tension may be felt as the Moon travels through watery Cancer. It forms squares with the Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Venus and Chiron. Tune into what you’re feeling and be sure to connect with your loved ones.
On the 26th the Moon connects with abundant Jupiter bringing legal news and housing information.
The Moon travels through the fire of Leo from the 27th to the beginning of the 29th. This feels supportive and lots of creative, heart-centered energy is released now. It’s a bold and confident time.
March 30th the Moon enters organizing earthy Virgo bringing a sense of order to the close of the month. Also on the 30th, Venus enters her home sign of Taurus bringing the joy of that grounded sign.
With Venus and the Moon closing out the month in earth signs we feel that the unique energetic journey of March has come to this solid ground. It’s time to feel your roots and to enjoy slowing down.
Well, once again, we’ve made it through the window of change that is the month of March. Hopefully, the passage from the past, which is watery Pisces, to the new fire of Aries, has helped you see your personal evolution.
I’ll meet you back here in April when Uranus enters Gemini and things shift even more.
Thanks for reading and remember, you matter, we’re all connected, Earth is our home and love is our destination.

Thank you Dulce! You are an incredible and talented woman. I am so blessed to have you in my life.
Once again a great read for the month. I look forward to Dulce’s insights, caring delivery and positivity. I encourage others to purchase her Journey series. Laughing, crying and not being able to stop reading are guaranteed. Her other offerings are amazing including videos, comments on USA vs current president charts and especially classes. It was totally worth the 6 hour drive to attend her 10 Dimensions class in January, 2026.
Thank You Dulce up to the Stars and out to the Universes.
