Greetings dear friends,
Peter Pan flutters by the window, following a beam of light from the rising sun. The geranium nods its pink flowers in the fresh breeze that comes through the open door. It’s another magical day on this beautiful planet. The prevailing energy of June is Gemini, which is youthful and timeless. Both the Sun and Venus travel through this androgynous, ageless, effervescent air sign, and added to the entourage for the first time in 12 years, is the weight and bulk of abundant Jupiter. Jupiter is the ruling planet of the other mutable signs and now we have changeable energy en masse! If you’re a fixed-sign person you might find the first 20 days of June to be a bit much. Keep in mind, that the chameleon feeling of Gemini continues as long as wise and learned Jupiter stays in this quick and agile sign, which is until the second week in June 2025. This is thinking, connecting, intelligent energy that helps you connect the dots.
Since the Aries eclipse we’ve dumped a lot of stuff that didn’t serve us. In the next few months, we rise up into the newness we’ve called forward.
Here’s how the month rolls along:
June begins on a sensitive light note. The Sun, Venus and Jupiter are in Gemini and Mars is just leaving a conjunction with Chiron. Imagine yourself to be as floating dandelion fluff, headed for some mysterious wild-blown destination. All you need is a commitment to peace to navigate these gentle breezes.
Uranus and Mercury are also parting ways as the month begins. Ideas and innovations are perfume on the air. See in what ways you can think and create outside the box. With the Sun in trine with Pluto in Aquarius, you’re able to find your people, even if they are only AI constructed. Oh yes, people have friends who are artificially smart! Artificial Intelligence is here to stay and we’re going to have very frequent interactions with AI from here on out.
Venus is hidden behind the Sun, preparing to become an evening star in July. This is an alchemical underworld time, giving us permission to transform our lives, especially our notions of beauty and value. Venus will be in this hidden position until July 10th 2024.
Venus connects with the Sun on June 2nd making an exact conjunction on June 4th. Mark your calendars! June 4th is a magical, magical time! It’s truly transformative and speaks of love.

Mark June 6th on your calendars too! This is the Gemini New Moon at 16° of Gemini with Venus at the same degree! My goodness, such incredible beauty and possibility at this New Moon. Think of all the ways in which you can lighten your life and your perceptions and set your intentions at this truly precious time. Saturn squares this lunation reminding you that what you plant now, can blossom and grow over many months.
At the very end of June 8th, or the beginning of June 9th, depending on where you’re located, Mars leaves fiery Aries for stable Taurus. You’re invited to slow down despite the breezes of Gemini, and root yourself in. Mars in Taurus reminds you that you live in a precious Earth body. What a sensual pleasure that is. Frolic with the flowers.
The warm Leo Moon carries us through to June 12th, where the waxing Moon enters Virgo and helps you attend to the details of your life and encouraging you with your service projects through to the 14th.
The Moon travels in Libra through to the 17th. Such nice harmonies with Jupiter, Venus and the Sun in Gemini. It’s air energy extraordinaire and facilitates your connection with your loved ones, and especially your significant other.
Mark your calendars for the 17th because early on this day both Venus and Mercury, in that order, leave airy Gemini for gentle Cancer. This marks an energy shift that carries us on an intense and emotionally aware Scorpio Moon until the 19th and then on a warm and vibrant Sagittarian Moon to summer solstice on June 20th.
Summer Solstice marks the Sun’s entry into Cancer and here in the northern hemisphere, the longest day of the year. This ancient, cosmic ritual is Earth’s celebration of the glory of being. I so hope you’ll find a way to celebrate it.
Cancer energy invites us into an awareness of what it means to have home, to be home, and to provide or preserve the notion of home and safety for all species. Sometimes, this looks like a crazy adventure. Who knows what the Universe lines up for you as you co-create with love the days of your life.
Summer Solstice is celebrated with an almost full Moon. The very next day on June 21st, the Capricorn Full Moon brings a pragmatic, earthy tone to the fairy tale that has been the month of June. Settle in and take care of the business of life.
This whole time Neptune moves toward the very end of Pisces bringing a sense of sacred wonder at life’s complex beauty. Neptune gets all the way to the end of Pisces, but doesn’t yet enter Aries, instead this dreamy ephemeral solar system friend of ours, retrogrades at the beginning of July and only enters Aries (for the first time in over 160 years) in the spring of 2025. I mention it now, because the veil between parallel realities is quite thin with Neptune lingering at the end of the end and during this remarkable time. Connect with your angels! And, if you’re adept at traveling between worlds, know that the cosmic roads are clear and open.
The Moon travels through social Aquarius from the 23rd to the 25th. Use the time to connect with your folks, AI or not!
The watery Pisces Moon from the 25th to the 28th flows beautifully with the watery Cancer Sun, Mercury, and Venus. The Sun conjuncts Saturn on the 27th bringing karma to your awareness and the presence of time. Be wise.
The Moon wanes and travels through the fresh energy of Aries over the next few days. The 29th might feel a little tender as the Moon connects with Chiron. Remember, don’t take anything personally!
The Taurus Moon carries us through to the end of the month. Grounded and sensual, it’s a blessing to have a home and a body. There is nothing but celebration and gratitude for all we have and all we are. We are not separate from the other beings who inhabit this beautiful planet with us. Let’s live with them in our hearts living simply so they may live.
