Greetings Earthlings,
It’s bitterly cold and dry. The snow the ponderosa depends on, isn’t here. Yet the sun shines and the ravens call and I can’t help but feel oh so grateful for it all. The San Juans white and majestic in the distance echo my gratitude. Please support my work by buying my book. It’s on paper, on Kindle and in audio (read by moi!). Thank you!
February is an electric month! Fueled by the vibratory waves of Aquarian energy and the primordial seas of Pisces, we travel this month between air and water, between the intellect and the spirit. Along the way a cosmic door opens in the form of the first eclipse of 2026 – a New Moon, a solar eclipse on the 17th. This is also the start of the Chinese New Year which occurs on the 17th along with the birth of the Moon. Blessings of the Fire Horse to you! According to Chinese astrology, this indicates a fast-moving year where action rules.
The first part of February belongs to the highly social sign of Aquarius. Let yourself connect socially with others. Who is your tribe? Where are your people? The Sun enters watery Pisces on February 18th, just 24 hours after the New Moon solar eclipse. There’s something quite magical about this cosmic timing and alignment. Perhaps you might approach this month with the wonder of a child. A sense of awe is a great thing to have right now.
In case you missed it, Neptune moved into Aries on January 26th, for the first time since 1862. This is a NEW fresh start for us all! It’s one of the cosmic moves all happening this year – an initiation into the new age featuring Pluto into Aquarius (first time in 250 years), Saturn into Aries – coming this month (first time in 29 years) and Uranus in Gemini – coming this summer (first time in 82 years). So we see that as 2026 unfolds, far bigger themes emerge. It’s a zeitgeist shift. Be prepared for anything!
This is also the month of the last exact Saturn and Neptune conjunction at 0˚ Aries – the degree known as the world point -the very beginning of the beginning. We’ve been living with the very end of the end for over a year now. I really like this guy’s take. He explains the Neptune/Saturn conjunction in Pisces without astrology. https://youtu.be/2Zed0lLBu1g?si=cpxE7EndW5NH4XEo
The month begins with a Full Leo Moon on February 1st. WowWee! We’re starting off bold. The USA is in turmoil, despite promises to the contrary, you-know-who is doing everything opposite to what he campaigned on. The entire world is now involved in the bruhaha. From a radical forgiveness perspective, he’s done the world a great favor. New alliances are forming, little nations are standing up for themselves and recognizing how much they love their land. Neighbors who have turned on neighbors (local men who joined ICE in Minnesota) are revealing the depth of group and herd psychosis (thank you, Nancy, for this term). All is coming out! There’s a giant cloud of off gassing, a huge stink is released as the kali yuga ends and the light grows stronger. Things are bad if we ask why is this happening to us, but when we wonder what is happening for us, everything turns. I studied directly with the creator of radical forgiveness, Colin Tipping, and the philosophy is liberating. It frees us from blame and allows a greater view. That’s what this Full Moon looks like to me. It looks like a creative, heart-centered orientation to what is really going on. And frankly, it’s a LOT easier to live with than a constant sense of outrage.
As an American (and an immigrant) I look at what the current administration has destroyed – precious institutions and international friendships to mention just a few –and ask myself how is this happening for us? What comes through is great appreciation for those institutions. We will rebuild them – without the waste – when this madness is over. This country is blessed and very special. Oppressed people the world over recognize that. Our rights have been established over much bloodshed and we get to see that and fight for those rights all over again. We’re going to take very good care that all that is valued is renewed and we’re going to participate in the rebuilding. So let your heart expand in courage at this Full Moon and begin to create now, in your life and your community equality and fairness for all beings.
The Leo Moon carries us through the next day. There’s a sense of huge drama. Don’t get roped in.
The Virgo Moon on February 3rd and 4th brings order. On the 4th stern irrefutable facts emerge as the Moon opposes Saturn.
The Libra Moon on the 5th, 6th, and most of the 7th attempts to restore balance and decorum.
On February 6th, Mercury leaves the sophistication of Aquarius for the dreaminess of Pisces. It’s time to listen to your dreams and your intuition.
The 7th, 8th and 9th, the Scorpio Moon harmonizes with Jupiter, the planet of law, traveling through Cancer. We may hear of legal decisions during these three days.
Very early on the 10th, loving Venus leaves the egalitarian energy of Aquarius for gentle Pisces. Venus is extraordinarily compassionate in this water sign. Forgiveness can become a deep practice for you over the next month.
The 10th, 11th and 12th, the waning Moon in Sagittarius lifts spirits but may also be dogmatic. Think for yourself.
The Moon enters Capricorn the evening of the 12th bringing a governmental focus. It then enters Aquarius preparing for rebirth on the 14th, Valentine’s Day.
February 13th, Saturn, the planet associated with time and the 4th dimension, enters Aries for the first time since 1996 (what was happening in your life then?) and connects with Neptune. Both of them at the Aries point – this my friends, is the beginning of the beginning of the New Age. From here on out things will be different. Aries is independent, feisty, and sometimes cares about nothing but itself. Are we entering an age of extreme self-reliance?
The evening of Valentine’s Day, the Moon connects with Pluto bringing secrets to light. If with your sweetheart, be gentle that night.
Prepare now for the intense New Moon solar eclipse coming up on February 17th.
On the 17th there’s our first eclipse. This is a solar eclipse; therefore it’s a new moon and a new beginning. This is at 28˚ Aquarius which is on the Moon (people) of the USA chart and on the descendent (relationships) of DJT’s chart. It’s also opposite DJT’s Mars. Mars is a volatile aggressive planet and an eclipse to it often suggests action or the results of action. This eclipse indicates that we can expect some revealing shifts and changes in the USA in February. With activations to DJT’s chart he and us, are joined in whatever it is that’s going down.
The Moon enters Pisces right after the eclipse and the Sun follows on the next day. The energy is changing. Make the necessary shifts to adjust.
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction at the very beginning of Aries continues until the 23rd when Saturn, the faster moving planet, begins to pull away. Use the window from the eclipse on the 17th to the 23rd to pay very close attention to what it is you’re moving into.
On the 18th the new Pisces Moon invites a closer connection with our spiritual selves.
The Moon meets Saturn and Neptune of the 19th when it enters Aries. We all know now what we’re getting into. In astrology, the Moon represents the public, so with this tight aspect we see a personal connection with these times. Notice what’s happening in your life.
The 21st is somewhat tender when the Moon meets Chiron. This could both hurt and heal.
The Taurus Moon on the 22nd and 23rd brings stability, until it doesn’t when the Moon meets crazy Uranus on the 23rd and things tip. This aspect also activates both DJT’s Mars and the Moon of the United States. Something happens today. Keep your eyes open.
The 24th and 25th the Gemini Moon quickens the news and messages fly. Connect the dots.
On the 26th and 27th the Cancer Moon resonates sweetly with the prevailing Pisces energy. Emotional intelligence streams in. Pay particular attention on the 26th when Mars connects with the United States Moon (the people) and DJT’s Mars. This is a highly significant day as these points have been steadily activated by Uranus for several months. It seems as if the moment is now.
On the 27th, the Moon meets legal Jupiter, which is conjunct the Sun in the chart of the United States. Things are personal. Everything is real. What is happening for you?
The month ends as Saturn and Neptune conjunct once again. The Moon enters bold Leo and fire energy burns. Keep your cool while feeding your inner flame.
I’ll see you back here for the Full Virgo Moon on March 3rd and 3i Atlas’s connection with Jupiter on March 15th! Wahoo!
Thanks for reading, and remember, you matter, we’ll all connected, Earth is our home and love is our destination.
Dulce
