Dear friends,
I’ve gone through some big changes lately. I was caught up in the whirlwind of politics and chaos that has been the norm. It was making me sick. But in the last few weeks I experienced a cleansing and a spiritual directive.
The key to my release was speaking my mind. I got some pithy stickers for the car, I went to protests. When I returned home to lie limply under the swamp cooler, I noticed how much better I felt. To top it off, I got a yard sign that says Public Lands are for People Not for Profit.
That was the cleansing; which I might have to do again. I still need to know what’s going on so I read about, watch and listen to what the players are saying and doing. And then I drop it and I focus on the spiritual directive I received for that’s what came after the cleansing – personal spiritual guidance. Personal is very Aries. It’s Kether at the crown on the Tree of Life which is the source of spiritual vision. As Terah Cox puts it: first expression/manifestation (Saturn and Neptune conjunct in Aries) of the undifferentiated/unknowable Oneness (sounds like Pisces).
This blog is part of my spiritual work. It’s been part of my spiritual service to write the cosmic happenings every month. There’s a lot more to it than just this blog – but this is something you and I share, dear reader. My spiritual directive guides me and gives me energy in a profound and meaningful way. I credit this to the activation of my Draconic chart. Your Draconic chart has been activated too!
Simply put, your Draconic chart is your essential spiritual essence. Your natal (birth) chart is how that essence plays out. Imagine, all 8.062 billion of us having our spiritual essences activated! Wow! You can see what that looks like by consulting your Draconic charts. Of course, you don’t need to look at a chart, you can tune into your own wisdom and find your spiritual directive/s any time you like.

You get the sense that July is a big month cosmically, and its “enhanced” by Mercury’s retrograde on July 18th to August 11th giving us all a breather. But wait! There’s something else!
Rebellious Uranus enters Gemini for the first time in 84 years, on July 7th. This correlates to big personal and global shifts. Uranus has everything to do with innovation and change. Gemini is associated with communication, playfulness, modes of travel, neighborhoods and education. Combine these two and we’re looking at surges in the AI industry and enhancements to communication devices; as well as the growth of alternative news sources, and changes in education and transportation.
A review of previous Uranus in Gemini transits shows the USA involvement in war. The USA has Uranus natally in Gemini, in our house of partnerships no less. We tend to be feisty and aggressive in world affairs. We’re looking at more war, alas, and that has already started.
Looking at the sacred geometry in the transiting planets the metaphor of a TV show keeps coming to mind. It’ll behoove us to spot the manipulations and obfuscations (Neptune) in government (Saturn). I’m reminded of the movie The Truman Show. I think it’s very relevant now. Being awake is key to navigating these fantasy and fear-filled waters. Uranus in Gemini quickens both delusion and enlightenment in a rebellious way. I love that Jupiter is in Cancer illuminating and strengthening our root connection to home, and Pluto in Aquarius, empowers community.
So that’s where we’re at. Let’s come into the month of July keeping all the above information in mind.

The energy is predominantly Cancer until July 22nd. Cancer is a beautiful, gentle energy. It’s focus is on security and home, food and children. Its shadows are greed and fear. The USA is a Cancer country. Please see my separate blog on the USA birthday chart.
July 4th, Venus enters Gemini, reflecting new values that could be all over the place. Venus is the ancient ruler of Gemini though, so we’re seeing depth and movement if our collective and individual journey with this. Neptune turns retrograde giving us the opportunity to strengthen our spiritual natures.
On July 7th, Uranus enters Gemini and sets the top spinning! Hold onto your hat! Air signs will manage this shift better than other signs. I recommend listening to Christopher Renstrom’s thorough Uranus in Gemini report. You can find him on YouTube.
July 10th is a Capricorn Full Moon. This lunation brings rules and regulations, the very fabric of government itself, to the foreground. Mercury in Leo could involve a lot of horn tooting. Mars in Virgo helps bring efficiency and order to the scene. In your personal life, this Full Moon is an invitation to put the business of your life in a primary position. You may need to reorganize things. With Mercury in Leo there’s also an invitation to play! To create! To party and celebrate. No matter what is going on in the country or the world, take the time at this Full Moon to say thank you and to let your hair down.
Tuesday July 15th from 6 to 8 pm I’ll be at Copeka Coffee House with Wendy Videlock, our Western Slope Poet Laureate to read from my book Heartfelt, which by the way, is going to come out in Audible in the near future. July 18th, Mercury turns retrograde until August 11th. This complicates things. I suggest using this three-week period as much needed respite from the hype. Mercury in Leo can be overly dramatic and full of bravado. Let’s hope we use it properly.
July 21st and July 22nd, Mars connects with the south node. A man leaves the world stage. And/or there’s a mess we need to clean up.
July 22nd, the Sun leaves Cancer for its home sign of Leo. Today the Moon meets Jupiter and emotions run high. It’s time to shift gears. It’s time to get out and move energy. Creativity and confidence wax strong.
July 24th at 1:10 PM (MDT) is the Leo New Moon. Here’s a chance to open up to things and align with your greatest vision AKA your spiritual directive. This New Moon harmonizes like a choir of angels with the new vision that moves us away from the noise and chaos and toward peace and sensibility. Do your part to clear the way! The Moon and Sun oppose Pluto! Stand your ground and literally be the change you want to see.
The month ends as Chiron retrogrades and Venus enters Cancer. Chiron in this position allows you to center in consciousness. The other choice is pain. What will you choose? Venus snuggles when in Cancer. This is dear, light hearted, gardening and baking energy. How will use it?
Looking at the month of July through a dimensional lens, we can see the difficulty on the 3D plane coming from the noise of the 4th. Our job is to access the 5th dimension of love, as soon as possible. If you’re reacting to other people’s fear, hate and irritation, then you, my darling, are stuck. It is NOT the place to be. We’re literally slipping out of the dark, warlike years of the Kali Yuga and entering the Krita or Satya Yuga. This is a slow subtle shift but it IS happening. Please remember that your soul purpose is being activated and that your entire body is changing to better handle the activation. Be gentle, stand strong, and commit to being love and peace.
And remember, you matter, we’re all connected, Earth is our home and love is our destination.
