Greetings loved ones,

As you know, it’s been a helluva’ time. We’ve been watching the TV show called “Dismantle Everything.” And now we’re going to watch, “Put it Back Together.”

May is an interesting month! Uranus is now in Gemini, planets change signs, and there are two Full Moons.

While pondering the complex astrology of May, I listened to some sweet reggae, and I sent the link to Wise Wendy. She texted back, “Is it AI?” and reminded me that use of AI is exponential and means a data center with its greed for water and electricity comes into existence. I belong to Citizens Climate Lobby – Montrose and we’ve already begun our anti-data-center campaign and yet here I am, at home, using it! This, my darlings, is Uranus in Gemini. We cannot be two -faced. Using AI means a data center somewhere gobbling up resources. Using AI minimally for things like music and art for example, means NO data center. Think about that! Choose mental congruence.

There are many joyous, unusual, exciting possibilities with Uranus now firmly in Gemini until 2033, but there are also concerning aberrations. Retaining your mental capacities and using your mental acuity is key during these next seven years. Don’t lose your critical thinking skills by letting AI take over. According to Gregg Braden, if not used, those neural pathways simply fade away. If you don’t use it, you lose it.

Humanity could use an upgrade, for sure. We could absolutely do a LOT better than we are. My hope is for us to come from the heart and not the mind. The mind is a fabulous tool, and it shapes our 3 and 4 dimensional realities. In 4D we can interface with computers and artificial intelligence. In the heart, none of that has meaning. Existence at the level of the heart transcends the 3rd and 4th dimensions. We begin to open more and more to receiving the vast field of consciousness in which we truly exist. In my studies I’ve learned of ten dimensions and that knowledge, which is also a felt sense, expands my life.

Uranus in Gemini is a space vehicle that opens us to possibilities we never even thought of. In its simplest terms, it offers us two paths: accessing the field of consciousness and AI. It’s possible you can do both. I’m a Gemini Sun, Moon and Mercury. Tris Megistus, itself, and I’ve been dingle dangling with many favorite fields of study and I have three jobs. I’m an astrologer, a psychotherapist, and an author. They are woven together, within me. I do all three, one after the other.

Bodysense is my newest novel and is the second in The Journey Series. Heartfelt, Vol 1, is available here. Bodysense can be in your hands as soon as June 9th. It’ll be launched on that highly auspicious day. My books are also available at Meditation Spaces in Montrose and The Lithic bookstore in Fruita. They are AI free! Human wrote!

Anyway, these are definitely exciting times and we’re going to see how Uranus’s new energy plays out. In the meantime, we’re in Taurus time, thank goodness. This grounded, sensual, earth loving energy reveals itself politically as MAHA adherents protest the current administration’s destruction of pesticide protections. The Farm Bill is big news now under these Taurus skies.

Taurus brings all of us the sense that we belong, that we are inhabitants of this planet. Use this time to care for your garden, to align with local farmers, and in the mountain west, consider your water usage. We’re in severe drought and we may need to let our lawns dry up so trees, rivers and agriculture get what they need.

There are several cosmic moves this month that bear watching including two Full Moons. Here’s how they roll out:

May 1st, and the month begins with a fat Scorpio Full Moon in the middle of the day. Called the Flower Moon we sense the beauty of this Moon. What makes this lunation significant is that there’s a clear cosmic warning to not let ego defense create suffering. Mercury and Chiron are exactly conjunct in Aries suggesting egos may get bruised. Mercury in Aries is about thinking for yourself, about yourself, and about your vision. Its conjunction with wounded healer Chiron invites us to refine our reactivity, to widen our narrow view to show sensitivity toward the whole. No ego protection is worth creating suffering for others. We see this in the chart of the United States. Mercury and Chiron are exactly square the USA Pluto suggesting that our democracy conflicts with any self-important individual effort to take over that democracy.

May 2nd, late that evening, Mercury leaves the self-focus of Aries and enters the stubbornness of Taurus. This shifts attention away from the individual and toward the Earth itself. The Farm Bill and other agriculture matters are likely to predominate now. Dig your heels in. Stick with your values. Mercury will be in Taurus until early on May 17th.

May 3rd and 4th, the upbeat, perhaps opinionated, Sagittarian Moon opposes Venus in Gemini. Find balance between the big picture and the alluring details. Talk love with others.

May 4th, Mars and Jupiter form a square suggesting tension related to individual freedoms (or the will of one person). This involves the legal system and lawsuits – Jupiter; or aggressive, impulsive action – Mars. Use this energy to push forward on your projects.

May 5th, the Moon enters pragmatic Capricorn and forms harmonious connections to Mercury and the Sun in Taurus. Use the next two days to take care of business. Also today, Mercury squares Pluto inviting deep discourse. Expect entrenched viewpoints.

May 6th, and outcast Pluto turns retrograde. Your transformation becomes internalized. Pluto turns direct Oct 15th.

May 7th, the Moon opposes Jupiter and squares Mars and then Chiron. Ouch. Something big, angry and painful is happening. Pace yourself. Stay away from negative people. On the plus side, emotional awareness and healing are likely as are openings and opportunities that push you beyond what you think you can do.

May 8th, the Moon enters social Aquarius and meets Pluto. Sometimes better things require a steady push forward. Put your shoulder to the wheel.

May 9th, the Aquarian Moon connects sweetly with Venus. Air energy sparks conversation and learning.

May 10th, 11th and partway through to May 12th, the waning Moon travels through watery Pisces bringing much needed spiritual relief. Use these days to create, to pray, and to rest. The Moon connects favorably with Jupiter, gentle in Cancer. Let your love flow.

May 13th, the Aries Moon meets Saturn suggesting some hard stuff needs to be done. Evaluate your emotions. Patience pays off.

May 14th, looks painful! The Aries Moon meets Mars and Chiron. Again, we’re seeing the ego defense thing. Let’s hope that impulsive crazy does not occur in order to defend the ego. Used positively, this energy allows you to tune into your emotional drive and reveals to you where healing is required.

May 15th, the dark Moon enters Taurus preparing for a rebirth. At the same time, Mars approaches Chiron. Here comes a lesson on the correct use of will. The warriors amongst us are hurting. The only way is through and the way is peace.

May 16th at 1:00 pm MDT, the New Moon is hatched at 25˚ Taurus, and at the exact same time, Mars and Chiron conjunct. What mystical, magical, cosmic thing is this! The sacred warrior is born! On a mundane level, we may see individual goals thwarted. Let release occur. Four planets are poised to enter new signs. This really is a fresh start… what seeds are you planting, beloved? What would you like to harvest? Over the next few days and weeks, Mercury, Venus and Mars, and a bit later Chiron will enter into new energy and nourish the seeds you plant today.

Here are some ideas for seed planting – align them with light, they bring happiness and peace to you, maybe passion-infused, and they allow relaxation and growth.

May 17th early in the morning, the Moon enters Gemini. Its followed by Mercury as Mercury slips out of grounded Taurus to enter its home sign of Gemini. Both Mercury and the Moon meet brilliant Uranus and bring new ideas your way. Those seeds are getting some connectivity! Meanwhile, Mars in Aries slips by Chiron taking the messages of pain and vulnerability with it. We’re learning about the correct use of will. Individual will can be impulsive and selfish with limited vision beyond immediate need. Divine Will opens us to other dimensions and aligns us with the flow and mystery of consciousness itself, which is the field in which all things dwell. Check out Dan Brown’s Secret of Secrets. It’s a work of fiction that shares the new science of consciousness. The science is sound.

May 18th is a very special day. Mars relinquishes the sword of Aries for the plough share of Taurus. Just hours later in the evening, Venus and the Moon enter gentle Cancer together and harmonize with Mars. How precious! The little family is gathering. Venus and the Moon in Cancer are mother and her child, a loving home, a bird on her nest. It’s time to practice, if you haven’t been already, a sweet appreciation for all life. Mars blows kisses to Venus and the Moon. Ah…!

Mars will be in Taurus until late June and Venus until mid-June.

May 19th, the energy is preparing to change. The Cancer Moon allows us to feel the way.

May 20th, is a big day. Two things happen. The Moon and Jupiter conjunct. Oh how nice! Such love! And then, later that evening, the Sun is birthed into the sign of the twins, Gemini. Oh such trouble Gemini can create! And oh so much fun! Happy birthday, you eternal kid!  As the Sun is midwifed into Gemini by the Moon and Jupiter, it meets Uranus. The cosmic play unfolds.

May 21st is reorientation day. Take the time to adjust to the new energy. The Moon enters Leo and opposes Pluto. Oooh… drama! How do the people feel about Kings?

May 22nd, the Sun and Uranus connect and electrify the airwaves. Changes in national or world leadership is possible. Make this day personal to you by jotting down your thoughts and/or talking to someone you don’t know, reaching out to your siblings, riding a bike.

May 23rd, the Moon enters Virgo and harmonizes with Mars. It’s a good time to clear out old stuff (Moon conjuncts the south node). Make way for the grounded new.

May 24th, is a bit of a mixed bag, a few tensions here and few blessings there. The Moon connects favorably with Jupiter and Venus tussles with Neptune and Pluto.

May 25th, is a little dreamy, maybe a little foggy, as the Moon enters relational Libra and opposes obscuring Neptune. Connect with your higher self.

May 26th and 27th the waxing Libra Moon brings dynamic tension to international and spiritual relationships as the Moon squares Jupiter and opposes karmic Saturn and then Chiron. On a personal level you can use this time to balance the dance between self and other.

May 28th, perhaps an intense day as the Moon enters Scorpio and opposes Mars.

May 29th and through to the morning of May 30th, the waxing Scorpio Moon puts us in touch with our passion for both revenge and love. Stay observant. DJT may experience something quite powerful on the 30th as the Moon squares his Mars.

The Moon enters Sagittarius on the 30th bringing the big picture into view and prepares us for the Full Moon the very next day.

On the last day of May, at 2:00 am MDT, the 9˚ Sagittarian Full Moon lights up the night sky as May’s Blue Moon. Just about every planet joins in on this tiny Full Moon. Yes, alas, the Moon is further away from Earth than usual. Mars, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto are all within orb to this Full Moon and the Sun. This is a collective visioning time. Steady, long-range action is expressed with this lunation. Ideas are shared; plans are made. Release whatever opinions and beliefs that no longer serve you.

The month of May ends in a full illumination of wisdom, if you’re vibrating at that level, and I believe that’s our aspiration. If 4D has overwhelmed you, this Full Moon may blow your mind. Stay sane, sweetheart!

Wow, another rip-roaring time. I’ll meet you back here June’s blog and the release of my new book, Bodysense. Oh my, I can hardly tell you how much joy and intrigue this book and its characters have brought me.

Remember – you matter, we’re all connected, Earth is our home and love is our destination.

Your astrologer,

Dulce
