Greetings dear ones,

This month the cosmic message is clear – pace yourself. In the USA the focus is on either the past “Take back America” and Saturn in Pisces, or the future “We’re Not going back” Uranus in Taurus. This is a dualistic deadlock we the populace must deal with in an intelligent way. The energy of September takes us both backwards and forwards.

This month we see a partial Full Moon eclipse which dominates the cosmic scene providing an opening and release. This occurs under the unfolding energy of organized Virgo and its opposite sign of Pisces. This is the time of year to practice cleanliness and order in all their forms. The desire for order and health shifts to the balance and decorum of Libra on the 22nd. In the meantime, action plans change as Mars enters Cancer for the first time in two years bringing attention to your home life. (Mars will retrograde later this year and into early 2025)  You might like to contemplate where you’re putting your energy and if it’s in your best interests?

The month starts with a last grasp on old forms of political structure and rules as Pluto retrogrades back into government-oriented Capricorn. This energy will not last though it may feel like we haven’t progressed at all. The first day of September occurs under a dark Leo Moon moving past Mercury, which is slowly moving forward again after a brutal retrograde in August. Pace yourself.

The Virgo New Moon on the 2nd reminds us to stay centered in what is sane and healthy. It’s our annual opportunity to clean things up. Discernment is a skill, and this is a good time to hone it. Boost your immune system now, at this beginning time. Practice good mental hygiene as well as dietary discretion. Healthy practices you begin now could bring you long-lasting benefits as this New Moon is watched over by stern but just Saturn. Sometimes saying no is the best thing you can do for yourself.

Align yourself with your inner Llama or your visiting angel on Labor Day (September 3rd) as the newly hatched Moon traverses Neptune’s fog. Inspiration comes from discerning action.

On the 4th, Mars leaves Gemini and enters the heart and hearth space of Cancer. The USA is a Cancer country and will experience Mars’ feisty activation over the next weeks. Notice where and how your drives and desires shift, if they do.

On the 5th, the Moon and Venus meet in lovely Libra. It’s a good day for love and balanced decisions.

Over the next few days, the Sun comes into an opposition with Saturn, exact the night of the 7th and the morning of the 8th. The consequences of our actions come to us in teaching dreams and health challenges or blessings.

This may lead to emotional insights and outbursts over the next day as the Moon opposes Uranus.

Very early morning September 9th, Mercury re-enters Virgo, retracing the steps it took on its retrograde journey. Revisit your plans and ponder your decisions.

The 11th feels exhilarating and/or deeply philosophical as the waxing Sagittarius Moon opposes over-the-top Jupiter. Pace yourself.

The Sun then begins to form an angle of tension with abundant Jupiter, exact on the 12th. Again, this is an opportunity to pace yourself. Lessons become readily available if you tune in to the messages the Universe is sending you.

The next couple of days, especially late on the 13th and early on the 14th, tingle with tension, some of it personal, most of it collective, as the Moon connects with Pluto and waves in friendly fashion to liberator Uranus. Stay calm and centered.

The 15th through the 18th moods change with the Moon. From analysis to compassion your feelings, and the mood of the people, run the gamut. Listen to your intuition.

The Pisces Full Moon on September 17th is an eclipse where your inner compass guides you to acts of faith. Stay close to your inner wisdom. Remain faithful to the actions and habits that keep you healthy. Discernment plays a large role in this nebulous cosmic environment. Dreamy Neptune’s presence at this eclipse can either obscure or inspire you.

The 19th resonates with self-understanding and possibly a frisson of pain and ego humiliation as the Aries Moon meets Chiron.

Adjustments in relationships and finances are required on the 20th as Venus makes an awkward connection with Uranus.

Surprises follow on the 21st as the Moon meets Uranus.

The energy shifts noticeably on the 22nd as the Sun leaves Virgo’s industriousness for Libra’s grace. The next thirty days provide us with the cosmic opportunity to find balance and harmony once again. Relationships flourish under this shift.

Later that same night (9/22) Venus enters Scorpio and deepens our desires. It’s best to keep your secrets until you understand their meaning.

Make adjustments quickly on the 23rd when the Gemini Moon meets Jupiter.

The 24th and 25th are good days to focus on what means the most to you with the Cancer Moon and its meeting with Mars. Emotions may run high.

Early on the 26th Mercury enters Libra and begins to stabilize ideas and discussions. This feels fresh and hopeful.

Mercury draws closer to the Sun becoming cazimi at month’s end. It’s more than time to put your ideas into action and to find balance in all aspects of your life.

Next month a solar New Moon eclipse in Libra seeds the ground for new possibilities. But right now, September is the terrain and this month a slow and steady pace is your best friend. The only thing we can take back is our sanity and the thing we’re not going back to is willful destruction.

Thanks for reading. Stay sane and remember, you matter, we are all connected, Earth is our home and love is our destination.

Your astrologer,

Dulce
