Greetings dear Ones,

I write this with a full heart and vibrating spirit. My heart is full because I’m listening to Sheryl Crow sharing Dolly quotes from the conversations they had. Dolly was teaching all the time! Dolly (a Capricorn with Virgo rising) resides in our shared ether where you can access her wisdom — it’s full of love and is infused with the beauty of her mountain home.

My spirit is vibrating because my dear little friend of 16 years, Rumi-kins, agreed that his time here was done; and that it was time for me to up my ante in life. How I love this precious being; and so miss his presence and dear little body. I’m grieving hard even though I know all is in divine order. He’s like a little Guru!

RUMI ZANE ANGELO May 28, 2010 – Aug 20, 2026

I’ve had a vibrant summer, and was so grateful to birth the second novel in my journey series, Bodysense, under the bright gaze of Venus and Jupiter as they danced together in the west. And just recently, I pushed the Publish button on my audio version of Bodysense which will be available by the New Moon on Sept 10 on Audible and other audio book platforms. I feel I’ve been blessed by the resonating energy of Venus and Jupiter, long gone as a pair but very visible in the first weeks of June. Did you see them? Here they are at the beginning of their tête-à-tête and at their final meeting. Notice how they shifted their positions?

    June 2 2026                              June 8 2026

In retrospect, Venus and Jupiter in Cancer remind me of Dolly and the love she and Carl had for almost 60 years. Indeed, those two planets connected with Dolly’s Mars/Saturn conjunction in Cancer.  Ah! As above, so below.

So… here we are entering the world of Virgo and Libra in the post-eclipse world of September. The first part occurs under the mindful gaze of the Maiden until September 22nd and the fall equinox. Then, under the light of a waning summer here in the northern hemisphere, the Sun enters the balanced dignity of Libra until very early on October 23rd, at which time it enters Scorpio.

During the first twenty-two days of September, use the Virgo energy to clean up and organize not only your living environment but also your mind and your habits. Virgo’s agenda in astrology is to re-connect us to our living bodies. Caring for our health, the food we eat, the rest we get, are all Virgo themes. This extrapolates out to our work life and care for our animals and each other. Service is a Virgo word. When the energy shifts to the air of Libra, our attention turns to the relationships in our lives. And yet, what’s occurring is far more than the position of the Sun. We’re held in the magical relationship of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Chiron as they resonate in the early degrees of their new sign placements. We are, astrologically speaking, in a new time.

Meanwhile, Jupiter and Saturn are connecting in a harmonious way indicating that your best efforts and hard work are paying off and will continue to do so over the long-term. In fact, the Jupiter/Saturn trine is good news for us all! They connect sweetly throughout the month, then they separate and then reunite next spring. Use this very nice energy by committing to your long range projects. Think optimistically!

Let’s look at how the month rolls along.

The month begins on a waning Taurus Moon resonating with Chiron. Ow. That’s a bit tender. Be kind! Mercury and Saturn are grumbling as they form a tense angle but you can use this energy to sort out difficult situations.

September 2nd, and the Taurus Moon moves into a relatively stable position.

On the 3rd, the Moon enters Gemini and meets with change agent Uranus. This resonates with the most recent lunar eclipse on August 27th. Things keep unfolding! Look at your life and see what it’s all about.

September 4th, the Gemini Moon forms a tense angle with Mercury making decision making a little tough. Go with what feels calmer.

On September 5th, Venus gracious and beautiful in Libra, opposes Vesta and Eris in Aries and brings female issues to the foreground. What does beauty mean to you?

September 5th and 6th, adjustments will need to be made as the Sun and Saturn form a difficult connection.

Also on the 6th, the Moon, now in Cancer meets Mars. Don’t engage in emotional reactions.

Over the next five days, Venus comes into an opposition with Chiron. This is painful. Restrictions in the flow of goods is likely. Venus will retrograde in October only turning direct on November 13th. I really don’t like Venus retrograde periods even though they are key to her mysterious cycle. I’ll tell you more in next month’s blog.

September 7th and 8th, the Leo Moon brings confidence which may well be bluster. Specifically on the 8th, when the Moon meets Jupiter in Leo. Play and have fun! Creativity and romance are likely even as legal news is magnified.

September 9th, the Moon is now dark and enters Virgo where it will be reborn at the annual Virgo New Moon the next day. Prepare yourself. Plant pragmatic seeds that you want to see bloom over the next few months.

September 10th is a full day cosmically speaking. Mark your calendars!

Early on September 10th, Venus leaves her favorite sign for her least favorite one. Venus in Scorpio is not the easiest placement, with overtones of jealousy and spite. Venus is now in an exact opposition to Chiron. Heal or hurt – those are the choices.

Late morning on the 10th, little Mercury leaves busy Virgo for balanced Libra. This is nice. A measure of decorum and dignity returns for the next three weeks. Mercury will retrograde October 24th until, drum roll please, the same day Venus turns direct – November 13th. Notice that both Mercury and Venus are retrograde during the mid-terms. Shady business is afoot, me thinks. Keep in mind that Venus represents money – our money. Where is our tax money going? We are being ripped off… and we know it.

Also on the 10th, change agent Uranus turns retrograde until early February 2027. This turns our attention to the shifting landscape of our internal world. Notice how you’re subtly changing. Pay attention to the illumination of your inner wisdom.

At almost 9pm (MDT) on September 10th, our annual Virgo New Moon occurs at 18˚  Virgo. This beginning resonates sweetly with Mars in Cancer. The purity of your intention is fueled by your emotionally aligned will. In other words – you can do it! Set your goal, align your heart, and watch it unfold. But first… recognize that your actions toward your goal are necessary.

September 11th, a very tender date for us Americans, brings a dreaminess as the Libra Moon meets Mercury and both oppose Neptune. Togetherness feels really nice right now.

The nice little bubble either bursts on the 12th or strengthens as the Moon opposes stern Saturn.

The 13th brings a brief reprieve as the Moon culminates in Libra. Balance and dignity are key.

September 14th and 15th, the Moon enters Scorpio and deepens emotions, particularly ones that you’re working through.

The 16th through the 18th the waxing Moon travels though optimistic Sagittarius bringing hope and joy, specifically as the Moon connects sweetly with Neptune, Saturn, Eris and Vesta in Aries. Think for yourself!

September 17th, be mindful of your speech as Mercury opposes Saturn. As a friend often says – keep your words sweet in case you have to eat them. Also on the 17th, Chiron turns retrograde taking our healing and hurting journey internally. Chiron will turn direct on January 6th (there’s a date we remember!) next year.

September 19th and 20th the Capricorn Moon brings us back to Earth. On the 20th, the Moon will oppose Mars bringing conflict into the open. Use the energy to get things done though the Moon/Mars connection will occur late at night which may well bring dreams revealing issues that need resolution.

September 21st there’s nowhere to hide. Secrets and ideas come forward as the Moon, newly in Aquarius meets Pluto.

The early evening of September 22nd, is the fall equinox here in the northern hemisphere. It’s the spring equinox in the southern hemisphere. This sacred time marks the equal hours of light and dark as the Sun leaves Virgo for Libra. Make this day holy. Embrace your shadow and your light.

We’re in a lovely air window now as the Aquarian Moon meets Mercury in Libra and Uranus vibrates all things Gemini – such as AI – which is not the shoe-in everyone thought it would be.

The energy is markedly different on the 23rd. Notice how things have changed.

Over the next few days, the Libra Sun opposes dreamy Neptune. Keep your immune system strong. Don’t make big decisions.

September 24th and 25th, the gentle Pisces Moon increases spiritual insights but also a sense of being victimized. We’re building to a strong Aries Full Moon. Keep the faith!

September 26th, the Aries Full Moon at almost 11 am MDT feels both inspiring and confusing. The fat Moon connects with dreamy Neptune. We don’t really know where we stand or what is happening. Stay close to your inner voice. I recommend constant prayer – something the nuns and Daphne do in my novels.

Lots of hard lessons emerge the following day as the 27th provides us with an energy shift. Pay attention. You may learn something about yourself. Even inaccuracies are pearls to explore. Today, Mars changes signs from security conscious Cancer to bold Leo. The next two months bring confident action.

September 28th and 29th the Taurus Moon brings a steadiness to a shifting cosmic environment though on the 28th, there is some tension as the Moon squares Mars.

The month ends as Mercury enters the deep waters of Scorpio. This is the energy of secrets; however, the Moon enters Gemini and Mercury squares Pluto. It’s going to be hard to keep things hidden under these skies.

Well, you made it through! I so hope you’re taking care of yourself in a meaningful way. I trust that you’re okay looking at and integrating your shadow. And I certainly hope you know that it’s just fine reaching out to friends and bringing balance to your life.

Remember, you matter. We are all connected. Earth is our home and love is our destination.

Blessings and love,

Your astrologer,

Dulce
